OUR PROMISE

We only have fully health tested, multi-generational Australian Labradoodles. Any dogs we select to be mama’s or dad’s have to pass extensive health testing. These tests include: Orthopedic Foundation of America (OFA) Hip, elbows, patella’s, heart and CAER eye testing (https://ofa.org/ ).

We also complete a second hip test, using PENNhip testing (https://www.antechdiagnostics.com/imaging-services/pennhip/ ), and our dogs are fully genetically tested for an extensive list of diseases, as well as color and coat types by Orivet (https://www.orivet.com/).

All of our breeding dogs’ health testing is available upon request, or by searching their full registered name at each of these sites.

You may also search each dogs 6 generation pedigree by going to https://alaa-labradoodles.com/ and entering their registered name. You will see none of our dogs have an inbreeding co-efficient above 3%. For reference, an ideal coefficient is less than 5%. Most “pure bred” dogs average 8%-20%+ .

We take the responsibility of methodical, planned, ethical breeding very seriously. That is why when you purchase a puppy from us, in the agreement you sign with us, you promise to never surrender your dog to a shelter. We ask that if anything changes and you can no longer support having one of our dogs, you pledge that you will return the dog we brought into this world back to us, so that we can re-home them. This is for their entire lifetime. No questions asked, no judgement made. We support and volunteer with shelters in our area to reduce the unwanted pet population, and do not want any of our doodles to end up in anything other than the pure bliss of a home we have hand-selected for them. Our goal is to place our dogs in their forever home the first time. But if it doesn’t work out, we will never abandon a dog we brought into this world.
